Unexploded Ordinance

"As one unravels, the other rebuilds."
A meta memoir detailing a trans woman's flee from domestic violence interwoven with the narrative of a cataclysm in her internal world. It marries the telling of immediate aftermath of escape and legal fight for safety with the fictive narrative of the last trans high-priestess, an exile surviving in the flooded ruin of her internal landscape.
As one woman spirals, grappling with documenting her trauma for the courts, the other searches for meaning, sifting through the shoreline debris of the flood that formed the “inland archipelago”.

"If you go out in the woods today, you'd better not go alone."
Once again the Sorcerer of the woods has demanded the village pay for its magical protection. The last payment, all the unwanted "difficult" children, were sent to the overgrown tower more than a decade ago, never to return.
Now, cut off from home, an unruly gaggle of teenagers are offered up. They must survive the scheming of the Sorcerer, the perils of the dark wood, and the greater evil that lays within the hearts of those abandoned.
